The board meeting of the University of Tehran Foundation was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Hossein Omid, Acting President of the University of Tehran. The main focus of the meeting was the renovation of university dormitories through philanthropic support.
Dr. Omid described this generous initiative by the benefactors as the most significant step in the university’s dormitory renovation. He emphasized that it will lead to major improvements in student living conditions and help resolve many of their concerns.
He added that the benefactors are not only supporters of the university in various fields, but their presence and contributions bring spiritual blessings beyond their ongoing financial support.
Dr. Omid also expressed appreciation for the activities of the University of Tehran Foundation, which has provided a platform for realizing the charitable intentions of these individuals. He noted that all philanthropic contributions will be facilitated and accelerated through this foundation.
The meeting was attended by board members of the foundation and a group of benevolent donors, during which contributions were made to support the renovation of the University of Tehran’s dormitories.
