Educational Initiatives and Support

The initiative of the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation has been establishing the “Young Scientists Festival”, which provides educational and financial support for developing products stemming from basic sciences and proposed by the young research teams and startups.

Some of the past educational initiatives and activities that the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation has been involved in as part of its core philanthropic goals are as follows:

  • In its inception, the foundation supported 100 top talented students from schools/universities
  • Over a span of 10 years, the total number of supported students increased from 100 to 5300.
  • A total of 200 top talented students from the University of Tehran and 110 from Shahid Beheshti University were supported.
  • Offering monetary support for the establishment of the Entrepreneurship Faculty building of the University of Tehran
  • Financial assistance to various institutions, including Iran’s National Elites Foundation, Kharazmi University (Tehran Campus), Technical and Vocational University, and the Charity Center of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
  • Renovation of the Zoology Museum of the University of Tehran
  • A total of 110 students were supported through the “Jamili Foundation’s Honorary Scholar Program”, in which students do not have to repay the scholarships, but if the recipients tend to repay the amount after achieving financial stability, they commit to supporting another student in need.
  • A “Postgraduation Employment Program” was established in centers covered and supported by the Jamili Foundation, exclusively for graduates who had used only the Jamili Foundation’s facilities.
