The Young Scientists Festival, supported by the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation and in collaboration with the University of Tehran, is held annually to support young researchers and promote entrepreneurship. The fields include chemistry, physics, biological sciences, geology, mathematics and computer science (AI), along with an extra scope each year, such as intelligent automation in mining and mineral sectors. Selected participants will receive support in commercializing their applications.
Submissions are open from July 23 to October 7, 2025, and the closing ceremony will take place in December. Principle investigator of the teams must be an Iranian between the ages of 18 to 44 years and they are highly encouraged to have international experts in their teams to receive 20% higher amount of grant.
